Hi from our Family

Hi Everyone,
been lurking around the site for many years. Finally time to register and say Hello. We are a Family of 4 and just finished a 3 1/2 Year Fulltime RV Adventure. This was the adventure of a Lifetime and we met so many new friendly folks on the road. With being Fulltime we had the BIG Camper's, that also included the BIG Oops/Problems/GRRR/Why me moments. Also I worked on the road for a RV Roof Company and been on many roofs (rigs as young as 4 months), installing complete new roofs. No Thanks, don't want to have anything to do with them. Problems, Problems, .....
Now that we have settled back into a home in North ID and are starting to look for a Fiberglass Trailer, to do the weekend excursions and maybe 1-2 months in the summer time.
We have our heart set on a older Bigfoot 5th Wheel. Doing research and trying to figure out the difference between the single and dual axle, so learning learning. Looking forward to find the ONE.

Thanks for the community looking forward to be a part of it.

Mike & his girls

Welcome to FGRV Mike. Sure seems you have some hands on experience with standard RVs. Hope you find the FG rig that tickles your fancy.

Welcome Mike, Wife and I have worked as camp workers for the Past 8 years and with the both of us we needed a big camper besides our 13 foot Boler.
I guess you can call our 32 foot Holiday Rambler a molded camper also because it is molded fiberglass also.
I did spend 1 year working in the Natonal Forest in the Boler and alone it wasn't too bad just missed the indoor shower and bathroom.
I'm sure you know all the ins&outs of what you need and want and I am sure you'll find one you want.
There are so many to choose from as you can see from the Gallery.
When I got my Boler I was only awear of Scamps & Casitas for small trailers and only saw an add on Craigs list for the Boler, $1200, went and althought it needed work, baught it fast as seeing the prices of new Scamps scared me.
