Yes, WHERE? Those appear to be what I'd like to put on my '84 Scamp 13.

Thanks for the link Jeff! We must've been typing about the same time. Are those the 7" 'School Bus' lights? They're 'bout the only ones I saw that are similar??

Cut open my door today with diamond cutter disk by dremel and removed about 25-30 pounds of wet pressboard. I'm replace wood at the hinges, around the window, door handle and fill the rest with spray in foam. Gonna fiberglass on the window to help block future drips

Smile When have you seen a white elephant?

You said, " Walls and ceiling is covered in a white (maybe in 87) elephant skin looking rubber."

That may not be true. Our elephant skin is NOT white, never was. It a light gray/tan looking color.

Roger, your Escape-built Trillium doesn't have the Elephant Skins as we affectionately call the old Ensolite. The old stuff, no one has been able to find it. It has to be made... which is what was done when your trailer was built.

Hmm. Rat Fur and Elephant Skin. Someone has an animal fixation. LOL

Just what would one call the stuff we have and is in the picture, (which, BTW, is not a photo of my trailer). It is grey and sort of crinkly. Maybe Tom Young knows.

I THINK it's automotive headliner material over foam. Or is yours the vinyl covering over foam?

Hi!
I saw this on Craigslist and think it was likely in a flood, don't have a clue where. The frame issues discouraged me. If you really get stuck on fiberglassing, I know a bunch of kayakers who regularly repair fiberglass, email me. Or, Sterling at Sterling's kayaks and fiberglass in Bellingham does wonderful work!
Good luck with this, you will have some wonderful choices as to customizing it!

More notes

I didn't like sleeping east west and having to crawl over someone and risk getting a knee or elbow in tender parts while a sleep. So, i did away with nook and put a queen size bed north to south. I now have a ton of storage under the bed platform, the wings on the each side also are removable and the compartment at the head also lifts up using the same set of hinges. I used 3/4 plywood for the bed setup and reinforced all the bed lids with 3/4 x 2" strips ply Rebuilding tthe door grrrr. Lots of bending cutting re-fiberglassing and my favorite new tool the heat gun. I didn't care for the stock scamp door plate so I made one outa scrap titanium and polished the edges smooth and dull. I bought a nice 3 way 5 cf fridge and cleverly discovered it was too wide to fit in the doorway... returning it was not an option. More cutting of said doorway and lots of re-fiberglassing. The door panel I made from 1/4 hardwood ply wood stained and finished as the rest . I made my cabinets outa 1/2 and 3/4 inch hardwood plywood stained redwood and 5 coats of redball floor finish applied with a shammy and used my wife's hairdryer between coats to harden the finish. A small 18 gage sink is going in by the door and a 3 burner gas store top to the left of the fridge. My uncle donated a set of 4 screw jacks, they are much nicer than the stock ones and make leveling a snap. I took out the scamp closet by the door to open it up a bit and gain bit more counter space. I realize I lost the eating nook but, the counters at the end of the bed serve just as well and with a small folding table we can have 2 guests that can use the front bench as seating. No room for dancing but, I intend to use the scamper as a comfy bed at night and place hold my toys while out enjoying the outdoors. I gave up the idea of a permanent grey tank and opted for the 14 gal rolling external one by thetford.
