Hi I am...

Hi. I am Christine. I just recently purchased a 1995 Scamp thanks to you and your forum. I found it on Craigslist in Corpus Christi and could not believe the price. I talked to the seller and had already decided that I was going to purchase it. I was sent pictures and was hooked from there. She is named "Mandy" after the lady I bought her from. Everything works so far. I want to do a few modifications. I have been reading a lot of the forums. It is a wonderful and informative site. I have been back in the states only 6 weeks after being deployed and wanted to a little traveling. The Scamp is small enough to do what I want. Thanks for everything. I am so glad to be a part of your site.

Hi Christine, welcome to FiberglassRV. Deployed? If you're in the military, thank you for your service! I think you'll find camping in a molded trailer wonderful.

Welcome Christine!

I was a Reservist and Retired from the Navy shortly after Desert Storm. The job I used to do doesn't exist anymore, as we did not have many computers in the field and did everything by hand then. (That makes me feel old) I have great respect for your service, as I was never in harm's way as much as every service member is now.

(Golly, I've been retired almost as long as I had been in service. Now I feel pre-historic.)

Welcome also from a little Burro owner (it's little, unfortunately I'm not! ) in Virginia, and again, thanks for your service. You'll find your little camper handy for all sorts of adventures in all sorts of places. May your camping time be long and your enjoyment of it boundless.
