Hi I am in Northern CA
Hello everyone. I am an experienced camper and boondocker - I have an airstream and am now looking for a smaller lighter camper for shorter trips and in tighter campgrounds. After I find the Scamp or the like to purchase I will, of course, be checking out the other threads on this site. Thanks for having me!

Welcome Stsnip, I am from our beautiful northern part of the state. I am in Mendocino County. Where abouts are you from? I just bought my 16' Casita a few days before Thanksgiving so I am relatively new around this fiberglass trailer site too. Good luck on your search.
Mike

Looking for Scamp
Susan, welcome to the forum from another NorCal resident. We live in Santa Rosa. There are several fiberglass trailer owners in the bay area. Hopefully you have looked at the Casita and Scamp websites as well. If you have a chance and inclination, you may enjoy attending a rally to meet some of us.
Good luck on your search.
Mark

Welcome, Susan!
We love our little Scamp. They're out there, but sometimes it's like fishing- patient waiting followed by quick action- to snag one. Hope you hook yours soon!

I'll be selling my 2008 Casita 16 SD as soon as I get around to finishing the interior cleanup from the last trip.
has toilet, shower, stove, small 3-way fridge (no ice), no microwave. bed, dinette-for-2, I installed LED lighting all around. brakes, tires, battery are only about a year old. will be including levelers, lego blocks, upgraded sewer hose, pretty much everything you need. I'll probably throw in my Renology 100W portable solar panel as I put a powerpole connector on it that plugs into a pigtail on the battery (and my new camper has roof top solar hard wired).

Stnip, Here is your chance. You got an early for-sale call thanks to being a member of this board. Casita's for all practical intent and purposes are the same as a Scamp. If you are ready to go, jump on it right now because it won't last long. And it is local!
