Hi, I'm just getting started on the Rv camping thing.

The last time I went camping in an RV ( a 1984 Winnebago) was the weekend I met my wife. That was 40 years ago this Labor Day weekend.

I just bought a 16' Scamp about a week ago.

I'm a retired machinist (30 years).

My hobby for many years was historical reenacting and did all our camping in 18th century style tent. We ae both too old to keep sleeping on the ground.

I am disabled and have been retired for about 15 years and my wife is about 1.5 years from retirement now. We want to do some traveling and visiting withe our kids when we are able to go without the constraints of work schedules.

We have a few planned activities including a "Meet and Greet' sloppy joe supper on the 17th and a pot luck on Saturday night.

Calling all musicians....bring your instuments as we have a small pavilion available to us.

There are many attractions in the area:
Hoard's Dairyman Museum, Old World Wisconsin, East Troy Electric Railroad Museum, The Elegant Farmer, Quilt-Agious, quilt shop and more.

Mukwanago is 30 miles from downtown Milwaukee with many attractions including the Harley Davidson Museum.
