I have wanted a Scamp for.... ever! I am in Iowa and now seems to be the right time! I look forward to learning from you all and finding what is RIGHT for me!
Thank you ahead of time!

Welcome, Tori!

Tell us a little more about your needs and I'm sure you'll get plenty of advice. Number of people, kinds of trips planned, location and season of travel, types of campgrounds, gear you intended to bring, and intended tow vehicle's weight ratings- all factor into your trailer choice.

Best wishes on your "egg hunt"!

If your heart is not set on a scamp there are several other brands of fiberglass trailers that are well built, of current manufacture and good value for the money they cost too. We looked at some other brands before going with an Escape and are very happy with the 21 foot Escape we have now. I think the best comment I’ve seen recently is the advice to buy a rig that’s ready to work for you. Renovation takes time, talent and money. And sometimes costs add up beyond what you could have purchased a serviceable unit for. It’s no fun working on stuff when your mind is on going camping and you’re tearing off the calendar pages.
We’re near Cedar Rapids if you want to look at an Escape sometime. You can PM us
