Happy to meet ya’ll and appreciation for the knowledge gained from y’all over the years.

I live in the CA Bay Area and I’ve had my 79 Scamp? (I think.) for 15 years+.
It never had any markings like a scamp, no information plate, VIN #, etc. so I’ve just assumed it’s a scamp.

I’ve remodeled it,, lots of custom touches, but recent leaks have led me to another remodel and lots of repairs. I’ll post pics soon.

Welcome, Steve!

IIRC, 1979 is the year Eveland's branded their trailers as "Acorn" due to a pending trademark suit by Skamper, a maker of tent trailers and pop-up truck campers. That could explain why someone removed the decals. Eveland's successfully defended the suit and the Scamp name returned a year or so later.

Of course, yours could also be one of the less common Boler clones. We'll look forward to your pictures, as there are subtle differences that distinguish each of the look-alikes.
