Another comment you should try to attend the rally at lake casitas ( near ojai).. we formerly lived in Thousand Oaks ca
Our favorite spots were lake casitas/ pismo beach/ lake Lopez ( 6 mi from pismo) and los Oso near San Louis ospisbo

I'm a native San franciscan.. but I live in Atlanta now... I saw some rallies in Alabama, Tennessee and north Carolina that might be more feesable. But thanks for the recommendation!

I actually am attending the Casitas campground for the October rally. I already reserved and everything. Yes! I love pismo. I have a rooftop tent and Ive been there a couple of times. Cant wait to take the trailer out there. I also shot up to Lake Lopez and I loved that campground. Ill have to check out los Osos.

Hi, Welcome to the forum.

I also own a 13' Scamp that I purchased new in 2017. A known problem with these little campers is they ride very low. Low enough to damage things on the bottom such as the front stand, pump and plumbing from the front sink/shower, the toilet drain fittings, and the grey water tank. I mostly stay in RV Parks and drive carefully but I have replaced my toilet drain plumbing and the grey water tank.

I just put 3" risers on my camper to reduce this problem. If you look at the bottom of your camper you will probably see scuff and scratches. You may want to increase the clearance.
