Hi I'm Denise

I've been lurking in the background, reading your forum for about a year and have learned a bunch of good stuff. I picked up my 2015 Casita 17' SD in April and hit the road on a 6,000 mile National Parks trek on May 28th. Talk about jumping into the deep end! I'm a newbie and this is my first Trailer experience. I'm hitting the road again next month to the Balloon Festival in Albuqurque and on to southern CA from there. I would like to back-track a wee bit and restart small and close to home with a couple rallies. I just saw the post for the Matagorda Madness rally in December, but when I went to the website I couldn't find any contact info to ask questions. Any suggestions? I was specifically wondering North Loop or South Loop in the park? Does it matter which section I make the reservation? Thanks.

Welcome to the group Denise. WOW, you sure did jump in with both feet!
Most times newbies ask us questions but seems like we'll be asking you.

Well, I registered for the Matagorda Madness Rally, so I hope to meet some of you there. Since this is my first rally I'll be learning the rally ropes.
Hopefully I can get this pic attached. My TV is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 6200 lb. tongue weight. I have a frame mounted receiver hitch for my rear cargo carrier and a Stromberg Carlson A-frame cargo tray for my Honda 3000 generator. I had to constantly remind myself the trailer was behind me. It towed like a charm.

This might be a better view of my set-up. We're on the Flaming Gorge Scenic Byway in Utah.
