Welcome back, Jeff. Beautiful photo!
On behalf of the Seattle Area Gathering, I'd like to invite you to join us at Dash Point September 20-24 (23 MVD--most valuable day) -- We'll have a weenie roast Friday night, an open house Saturday, and a dog event or two including costumes after the open house--and then a potluck meal. Not a lot of organizing but we may have a group trip to the car museum and/or glass museum in Tacoma...there's a beach access, an "urban wilderness" type park, less than 25 miles from Seattle. Point of gathering--for those of us in the Puget Sound region and Seattle to begin to know our neighbors nearby for mutual support in our
fiberglass interests.
And some of us are going to meet at the Mt. Baker Vintage Trailer
rally in Lynden, WA September 5-10 (9th MVD), too; room for all, $25/night, $15 register--if you haven't been, it's worth attending. Group events, raffle (last year one of the
fiberglass folks won a stainless steel cooler filled with booze) -- the older trailers, often beautifully restored to vintage, are fab, there's singing, group meals, etc. No one is in charge of the FGRV group there, but some of us will put up FGRV signs on our trailers so we will know each other.
BEST
Kai
