Hi I'm new .

Hello everyone , I've tried finding a small trailer "Scamp" but can't seem to get to thoses offered before its gone. I guess this is a common problem. I've been in the Composites industry for some 35 years so a fiberglass camper fits perfect for me. Does anyone make a kit that can be finished by the owner ?

Thanks , Russ

Welcome Russ. Not that I'm aware of but maybe someone else will jump in soon. FG campers don't last long at a decent price.

I think that Burro offered a partially assembled trailer, but that was years ago. There is really little incentive to offer a kit when the existing FGRV builders all have a standing list of back orders. What you might do is look for "Projects" and just pretend it is a KIT when you get it home.

As is oft mentioned here, the life expectancy for For Sale ads, that are really good buys, falls into the hours category.

Another suggestion:
We found our 2011 Scamp 13' when we'd called Scamp Inc. for a list of owners in our area that we could look at (since they don't have dealers). Turned out one was interested in selling theirs, so we bought it before it was ever listed.

Scamp will sell you a stripped down 13' standard for about $9000. If it is something you are interested in, call soon as prices tend to go up in the Spring. Good hunting, Raz
