Hi Sara. I am in Florida also. Towing a 17' Casita with the same 4Runner. Tows like its not even there.

I got the Spirit but wish I would have got the Liberty for the twins.

Enjoy!

Hi Tap!

It's reassuring to know a 17' Casita does well behind a 4Runner.

The "twins" ???????

Anyone raising twins fills me with ADMIRATION!!

I was blessed with 3 boys and fortunately had a bit of time to pause in between.

Thanks for your post.

Thumbs up What a great spreadsheet!

I'm a former math teacher, so I love to play with numbers.
Hi again!

Downloaded the spreadsheet and am thrilled with it. VERY useful information.

Unfortunately, I required a tutor to get through Algebra.

I think of Math as a universal language and admire anyone that is comfortable enough to enjoy playing with numbers.

Thanks again for your post!

Well . . . Tap . . .

I have provided an excellent example of why there is so much conflict on the planet. Sometimes, I am certain that I understood someone, only to discover I wasn't even close!

Thanks for the clarification as it provided me with a much needed laugh!

Thank you for your welcome! This reminds me of when I was the honorary female "father" for my boys activities in Boy Scouts. I didn't have a clue what I was doing - but all the fathers were so supportive and helpful that I immediately felt like I actually fit.

I love your doggie!

Hi Dean!

Thank you for your welcome!

The great thing about being in my sixties is that I learned Lesson #1, which is: I know how little I know.

I'm pretty sure I may have the right TV, but everything else requires accumulating a lot of information, so that I can make an intelligent choice.

Sara,

I caught the RV bug in September, '14. We bought our new to us '05 Casita 17' FD in November, '15. I have read and researched. I am afraid I have already forgotten more than I currently remember, but excited to start camping in 2016. It will all be a Grand Adventure!

Needless to write, I still have a lot to learn and I am certain that joining fiberglassrv.com will serve me very well.

I'm in my sixties and eventually will be looking for something small (16'-17').
Welcome, Sara!

There is an Escape 17'. If you look at the Escape Trailer website, you can see the floor plans for it and the 19' and 21' which your 4Runner can also tow. (But I would say with a WDH as we use.) If you want to see a certain model, there are Escapes in your region. Keep in mind that the dollar is currently ridiculously in our favor so whatever prices you see, you can deduct about 30%, if it stays that way for a while. Good shopping!

Yes, these are supportive folks here.

Thanks; we kinda like the puppies, too, on occasion.
