I honestly do not even know how to fill the water tank, or drain the "faciliites" do you have a toilet?
Yes, I do have a toilet in my trailer - the previous owner told me it worked until he changed the battery so I know I have to have that looked at soon.

WOW...THREE people in Marysville - boy did I get lucky!
So, I guess my first question would be - do you recommend a place where I can have it worked on? Also, what are your thoughts on trailer brakes? I am pulling my trailer with a Subaru Forester. I am seriously considering Mayhill next month - but I want to have her checked out before making that trip.

THhnks and I will chat with you soon!

Another COMPACT II owner!!!

Good Morning, Chuck & Vickie,
I'm seriously thinking about MOVING to the Marysville area with Stephen AND our TWO TWINS. Let's take over the town!

YUP, CHUCK...I just pulled home a little boy (BLUE and white to match my soon to be PINK and white little girl)!!!! Of course, you can see that they are FRATERNAL and not IDENTICAL.

Maybe I'll bring little BLUE to the Maryhill meet and Steve can tow little PINK...

Michelle,
Come on up to this small meet with you EGGIE.
We'd love to meet you and check her out. What color is she?

Chuck's house?....Just kidding
I've had work done at Arlington RV & Welding Supply - seem like nice folks & I've been happy with their work.

Towing with a Suby (I have 2 Outbacks), I would want brakes installed on the trailer. Check your owners manual, but I believe Subaru indicates you need brakes for trailers over 1000#.
There is an old highway scale on highway 9 just south of state route 92 that you can use to weigh your rig. Just pull onto the scale and you can read the weight thru the window. Weight can creep up on you if you don't pay attention.

Hope to meet you in Maryhill, or Taidnapum, or Bandon.....

Subaru towing a Compact II

Good Morning, Paul!
I tow mine with a 4 cyl Subaru Outback and have never had a problem having NO electric brakes. I've gone to my Subaru dealers (the service men know me by sight by name...they've been so helpful with info about towing my trailer), and they feel that you need electric brakes for ANY 16' fiberglass trailer. We're talking trailers of 1600 pounds or more. My 13' Compact II weighs in at about 1,300 (no pergo wood flooring, my food is in a cooler in the back of my Subaru , no microwave, no filled water tank, etc). Of course, I'm not able to go 60mph up the 1,600 foot coastal range...more like 45/50...it's a weight to pulll UP...
