Hi! Mr D in reno

Just purchased a compact 2 .
LOVE it!
I was Lucky all parts are there and working.
It just needs interior work to be...sanitary?!
I'll post pics when I figure out how.

I'm thrilled that the next sentence wasn't "and we've gutted it".

I bought my 1972 Compact Jr 1972 in January 2017 and I did gut it except for the stove and sink. Drawers were broken. Trim off. Canvas gone. Windows bad. Roof had leaked. Now I am putting it back together with my design. I live in Iowa so the progress has been slow. Now the day are warmer. Hope to get it done by Memorial day. I am a retired 70 year old lady who likes a remodeling project.

Reno compact 2

No need to gut in opinion.
Just needs front glass, and replace nasty cushions that were ruined because glass was missing for who knows how long.
I' did pop some some car tires on so I could get it home.
Glad to find this forum. It's a wonderful resource and I've already learned a lot. Thank you!
