I am a newbe to this forum

My name is Al and my user name is slateman1. My wife and I live in western Ma. We got our U-Haul about 3 years ago (3rd or 4th owners), we had owned a small pick-up slide-in for a number of years but it got old and had to be retired. We than spent 6 years tent camping; This camper meets our needs well so I have put some time in restoring it. All the windows leaked, so I replaced the felt track around all of the vented windows and have 70 + or - more feet if some one is interested (I had to order a 100 ft roll). It was not that easy to do but it's done. I also replaced the door lock with a U-Haul replacement and can give the contact to any one who may need it. I also bought an extra wheel bearing to keep with the camper. Now I am trying to insulate it and was hoping to get some advice on the best way to do this. Now that I have found this sight I will be checking in often. Thanks Al

Welcome, Al! We are also the owners of a UHaul - a 16' VT. You don't specify the size of yours. Is it a 13' CT?

This group is very helpful in making suggestions for upgrades and fixes to all types of trailers. Good luck with the restoration! (I don't know about the insulation question myself, but there are some threads here about putting insulation in double-walled trailers like the UHaul and Burro.)

Picture posting help by Donna D. Be patient, it may take a couple of seconds for the page to load.

Smile Attaching photos

Slateman. Welcome.
Adding a picture is below the advanced blog entry, under additional options/attach files. Pretty easy, now.
