I gots me a Trillium!

Hello everyone!

I just pulled in from 16 hours on the road going to pick up my new (to me) 1973 Trillium 1300.

Its seen better days but seems pretty solid. I can't wait to get my hands dirty and start bringing this old gal back to her former glory.

It even came with an add-a-room that the PO didn't mention however, I'm not too sure about the colour!

Congrats Will, where did you have to go to get it? See you at the Manitoba Rally, we will have a trailer tour so you can get lots of ideas on what to do with it. Some stock and some full out customs. I am still looking for a project trailer and have missed out on a few but still on the hunt. I want to do a full custom to meet my needs.

I didn't take a lot of pictures yet as we got home after dark. The trailer was in Eldersly, Saskatchewan but, the price was right and after having asked a million questions via e-mail I was 99.9% sure I would buy it.

It was a long ride home and since I've never pulled a trailer before I was nervous about every bump and bounce. There was a rattling noise, I figured to be the jack, which mysteriously stopped halfway home. Get home to discover that the jack had fallen out and all that was left was an empty tube.

Today is cleaning day, so off to it. Pics to follow.

Turns out the add-a-room is in great shape. I'm thrilled about that!

Wow, Flower Power!
You don't need the jack to go camping.
I once found a new jack that fit the welded brace on my boler, maybe you will luck out. If not, they've got the bolt on ones for less than $30 or 40, you don't need anything even close to heavy duty.

WOW!!! Good job!
Love the print on the screen room - I think you could leverage that into a really cool interior decorating theme!

Nice! Definitely a score with that add-a-room. Also cool to see another orange fiberglass interior on a 73' like mine and what the original cushions looked like.

Enjoy!
