Kind of new
Hi there. I thought I would take the time to introduce ourselves. My name is Heather and my husband is Farren. We joined Fiberglass RV back in July but have never posted anything. We joined 2 days after buying our first trailer a 1975 Trillium. Probably my first mistake; not the trailer (I love her) but purchasing with absolutely no knowledge. We have both camped all our lives but in tents, so our little egg feels like pure luxury! I think she probably has a few issues but I feel confident that you fellow eggers can help me along the way I have so many questions but don't know where to start. Actually my first question should be "where do I post questions"? Under care or owners helping owners?

Welcome!
I think your best bet would be in "Owners Helping Owners"

We want to add our welcome too. My Wife and I bought a 1975 green Trillium in 1975. We loved it and kept it for 8 yrs. We know you'll have wonderful camping memories with it. Plus you will have great support from members of this sight. Welcome! Dennis and Linda

Welcome to the group Heather and Farren In addition to asking questions, this forum also has a great 'Search' feature and you might want to start there, just to see if anyone has already asked it. Normally there will be a wealth of info listed at the end of your 'search'. There are a lot of wonderful people here more than willing to share!! Have a great time camping and making your Trill your Glam Camper

Welcome from Yuma
I agree with David and also admit to being somewhat biased, he he.
We are luxuriating here where the sun spends winter, 1500 miles from home.
We stayed in Lake Skinner last night for you California members. A great park, and all pull throughs.

Welcome Heather and Farren!
We are also new to fiberglass RV'ing after many years tent camping. It is great!
We just got our first- a 1977 13' Trillium. There is a lot of info here and I'm always searching for something in this quest to "make it mine"!

The First things I would look at.
Farren & Heather,
The first things I would check is the age of the tires, and have the bearings relubed.
Tires over seven years old are dangerous.
Lack of lube in the hubs could cause bearing seizure, stub shaft breakage and other horrible things.

Farren and Heather,
The first thing to do is to survey the trailer. Begin by checking to see that all appliances work. As Roger said check the tires, bearings and brakes. After your next rain check the windows and the floor area under cabinets and the like for leaks.
After all this it's simply a question of fixing the small things and making it your own.
We wish you the very best with your Trillium,

No pics yet. Unfortunately it is winter here in Saskatchewan and she is stored at my aunt's acreage. I will be posting lots of pictures though as a visual might help with all the questions I have for you folks

As someone who grew up where there was always snow, I miss it (now, I'm in Louisiana- no snow ). I would love to see a picture of it just sitting in the snow!

Maybe next week. It is -40 celcius ( that would also be -40 in fahrenheight ) right now They claim it will warm up to -15 (5F) next week so I will try get some pics then. You may miss the snow but I envy those who are out camping right now!
