Casey is relatively aware compared to many newbies on this site yet we managed to drive him away. Imagine the feelings and even fears we create in some less knowledgeable who come to this site. It's all pretty interesting to me.

Members of this forum, particularly long time members, should be able to give their opinions without attempts at ridiculed by other forum members. You can state your view without having to criticize some one else, actually your view may be more respected if it does not contain ridicule.

Everyday is a chance to learn and get better.

Norm, when it comes to tow limits, we disagree. But I fully agree with everything you said here. Raz

Raz, Obviously I don't mind the disagreement. I don't care what others tow with but I am willing to share my experience. as you are. We need to be kind.

Thank you for your comment

The OP posed a number of unrelated questions right from the start, which made this thread both interesting, but also confusing. Changing his lifestyle, work, etc. His expectations of getting a clear and singular recipe for what TT to tow with what TV from this group, or any other, were unrealistic. We all have different likes and dislikes, expectations and needs. When it comes to towing within specifications - how much margin do we need to feel safe? 1% or 50%? Can we go ten pounds over? I just re-read this thread and I do not see that Casey was driven away. He simply better get more information from car manufacturers and other sources and ruminate for a while before he makes his move. (And maybe have drink with that lady?)

If everybody had the same opinion on everything, life would be so boring.

H Casey... Good to see that you are still with us as of 5:51 PDT this morning.
Public sites are not usually seen as a source of professional advice, so one has to learn which posts to follow and which to ignore, all of which will take a bit of time.

As was once said:"Don't shoot the messenger".
