I meant I'd never heard of a factory through-window AC installation on a traditional single hull molded fiberglass design.
is an entirely different hull design. I knew they used a window-type unit, but I don't know the details of how it is installed and reinforced. I'm sure it works fine.
I'm wondering now how long Casita
used that approach and whether there were issues that might lead the OP to consider moving it. On the one hand, it has lasted 27 years, so it might be okay to leave it alone ("if it ain't broke…"). On the other hand, it doesn't look like this trailer has been used too much!
If it were my trailer, and especially if my plans included extensive travel or rough back roads, I'd attempt to have a conversation with someone at Casita
who has been there a while (like 27 years or more).
