Hi, Mack. I live sort of near you - Palo Alto.

What kind of bins are you looking for?

you'll hafta find someone parting out a uhaul probably or maybe try and copy someones?
Mine only has 2 in the back......one over the convertor area and one under the rear window oposite of the battery hole which has none like the hole over the water tank........in the front theres one on the left side and none over the area that had the swamp cooler tank. Then theres the bigger one under the sink, the most used one because its easy to access.

I have an '84 that didn't come with bin liners. There is much more space available without them!

I use the under bed compartments for equipment only - like water, heater, furnace, battery...

The other compartments, I can customize!

To quote Mouse, yes there is MUCH more space without them. We are missing one front and one rear, and I removed the one under the sink, and also removed the water tank. I lined the spaces with carpet pad to protect the outer shell fiberglass, but not as a permanent installation, just laid it in there. Found that my marker lights were leaking water into those spaces. Thomas modified a storage unit for under his sink which gives much more space than the original liners. You'll find lots of ideas and info here. Bob

Yep, those liners were designed for the rental market to keep things easy to clean. I like the closet and overhead bin liners in my VT-16. The under sink one came out when they put in the water heater. Now I have about 2" of space there.

Regards,

Matt

Welome Mack

I'd like to welcome you also Mack! This is a great forum with lots of brainstorming going on! I am partial to the UHauls mostly because of their weight, size, uniqueness and sturdy build. But, lots of other great manufacturers here too and like Ms Donna D always says the FGRVs are much more alike than different!
