Maiden Voyage

I worked on my Li'l Bigfoot over the winter. Pretty much a re-do / upgrade on just about everything.

We've dubbed her "Rosebud" - a la Citizen Kane.

My 5 year old son and I took it up to Porteau Cove, just north of Vancouver, B.C. on an overnighter.

Got lotsa attention and well wishes.

Can't wait to get out again!

Cheers and have fun!

Dave in Vancouver.

hi dave---great job on the re-do! i envy you having been able to get out camping already! that's the beauty of living on the west coast...we're still cold and snowy here.

will you leave your table down as a bed most times or make it up each night?

love the black....!

Thanks for the pictures. I am always looking for ideas. I like the contrast between the black and silver? Is that silver? if not what is it?
Would like to see some pictures of your galley from the front straight on to see your layout if you have the opportunity.
Just my observation but it seems like about every 3rd post is from Canada and all around the Vancouver area. I love Vancouver. When I lived in Glacier,Wa you could easily go to Vancouver (before 911). The streets were so clean you could practically eat off of them.

Born and raised in Vancouver! I like the fact that I can go camping and snowboarding on the same day, not to mention the beach. We have all the fixings and problems of a larger city, but nothing too crazy. A very multicultural city.

I plan some better pictures, those were taken in poor light. The curtains and cushions are dark blue/grey, counter and tables black, fridge and cupboard doors medium grey, floor grey, chrome knobs and stove, walls white. I'm really happy with the look. I took grey accents outside on the accessory plugs and vents as well.

More pictures on the next trip.

Yeah, Dave!!! I love it. What a beautiful job. (and I love the dog too....so cute!) I'm sure our paths will cross at some point....maybe at a fibreglass meet up in the area? Now that we are actually enjoying sunshine it makes camping seem like a great idea!!! WhooHoo....go Canucks. :-)
