Need advise on Triple E Surf Side

My wife and I are looking to purchase our first fiberglass RV and would like anyone that has helpful info on a '77 triple e surf side to share with us. Weve found one for sale for 3300$ that needs a bit of tlc.

We have a 76 Surf Side that we purchased 2 years ago. We like that it has windows that open on all 4 sides and we can get a nice air flow. The shape of the walls make it very roomy inside and we find it very comfortable for two people and two small dogs. It tows well with our Ford Ranger. The interior decorating was done for us when we bought it but there were a few things along the mechanical that needed to be done and it was not difficult to find the necessary parts. Hope this is the kind of info that you are looking for. Good luck to you.

The nice thing about the Surfside compared to the same size of Trillium or the 13-foot Boler is that one end of the Surfside bed is 57 inches wide (the other end is 47 inches), giving you more space. The Trillium bed is a 52-inch-wide rectangle and the Boler is 48 inches.

Often, we have found parts at our local RV dealer. If it is not on the shelf, it is in the order catalogue. There is also an on-line shop called Vintage Trailer Supply that has been very helpful and reasonable. This site is also helpful. Folks have things in their shop that they are willing to sell or share. They also have ideas of where to get parts and supplies. Enjoy!
