New Compact Jr Owner

I have joined a new world that I have no knowledge of whatsoever... I just purchased a 72' Compact Jr and have a lot of work to do, things to do and replace. I purchased the Compact Jr from a local in So Cal I am a contractor so I am use to getting my hands dirty. If there is something I should know from the start please let me know. I will be on this site daily looking for new things to learn.

Welcome Jeff - You are already well started on road to further knowledge about FGRVs, by searching out this web-site. There are many willing participants, just waiting to hear your queries. Just ask !, and then listen !

Start at the bottom (tires, brakes, suspension, frame) and work your way up. Worst hassle might be a new floor unless the old one feels solid.

Yep, as mentioned, start from the bottom up and be sure everything is safe and secure, check tire age, inspect and repack the wheel bearings and attack the floor. It's also a good idea to replace all of the exterior lighting wiring at the same time.

Here's some pics of my similar Compact-II rebuild. If you would like to see it I am in Riverside, but I don't expect to be back home until early October, but feel free to ask lots of questions.
