Hey, my name is Aaron. Last week I picked up a 1990 Scamp 16, it will be my first true RV. Before that I used a 91 Vanagon pop up (i still have it, although I have gotten sick of trying to keep it running).

It really is, heat, A/C, shower, hot water.

I got to borrow a family members T@B and we liked the idea of having some comforts. We go backpacking all the time so we have no problems roughing it, but if we are going to pull a camper might as well be able to relax in it.

Finally got it cleaned, deoxidized, polished and waxed. I removed the step, found it to hang very low and it was clear that someone had hit something with it as it was bent. Some photos.

The last owners doubled down on the brown, they even added brown towels, and throw pillows. Wife and I are going to spend the winter figuring out the inside renovation, replacing the curtains and cushion covers. We did add Velcro to attach reflectix and tiebacks for the current curtains.

The owners before last did a couple of modifications.

Added a catalytic heater, olympian wave 3, works really well.

And a vent pipe for the black tank.
