Hello All. I stumbled across this site after purchasing a Love Bug camper the other day. I had been looking for a used Scamp, Cusata, or Uhaul type camper in my area/price range for a while. I purchased this little camper from a person in Gulf Shores Al late friday afternoon and since I had my daughter and granddaughter with me I pulled it straight over to Gulf Shores State Park so they could spend the day at the beach saturday. I had anticipated getting it and took a window AC with me and popped out the screen in a side window to set it in overnight. While the cushions need to be replaced with a trip to the china mart I got enough sheets and blankets to lay over them for the night. I couldn't believe how good this camper pulled but when we got back to my daughters house I hooked it up to my old jeep wrangler to get it on home and it handled it nicely. Anyway I stumbled across the site looking for information on the Love Bug and while not finding exactly what I wanted it appears you still have a new member. I am seeking specifications and lititure on the Love Bug and would love to meet others in the area into fiberglass.

Thanks Gildo I will have to study on how to post a pic here.Maybe this will work. This is within 30 minutes of purchasing it and at the state park.

Drew, I was not able to register on your photo page although the one photo that appears tells me that you have a beauty. It's easy to post photos on the FGRV forum. Just go to the "Reply" button and click on the picture of the paperclip. There you hit "browse", find the photos you want to upload and then "upload". Check your posting by hitting the "Preview Post" button at the bottom of your rough draft. Hit "Submit Reply" when you are satisfied.

Hi Drew,
There has been lots posted on the Love Bug on the FGRV forum. To find the threads click on the "Search" tab. At the bottom of the pull-down menu you will see a white box with "Google" written in it. In that box write "Love Bug" and you will see listed many threads having to do with Love Bugs. Good luck!

Yes I keep seeing at the top of home page I have PM's. If I click on it it wants me to download something and also make it my main search engine. I just don't download anything like that.

Hummm, let me report the problem to a moderator. Someone should be able to help you. PMs don't require you to download anything. Are you using something other than a PC? Let's start there.

Are you clicking on the link that says "Private Messages"?

Currently on laptop using IE, Haven't signed in with firefox to see if there.. I just found the notifications drop down but this thing lookslike it is showing up in an add area saying you have 1 , 2 ,or 3 PM's click here to read and takes you to the download I pasted in previous message. It may just be that an ad, but it was confusing.

Drew, it appears you've clicked on an AD. The image below is mine, so yours will have your name

Look in the near upper right hand corner of the window, when you have PMs... you'd click on the line that says Private Messages (where the cursor is in the image below). I hope this helps

It does appear to be a ad. I am just getting used to site and the ad had me confused. I found where PM's would be if I had any. Thanks for your help.
