New Member trying to identfy FG trailer

Hi, I am new to forums so feel free to correct me and direct me if I am in the wrong place. I recently purchased some land that had 2 FG trailers on it. I am interested in finding out more info and identifying the one with no branding. I have included some images. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Evan

It's obviously a Trillium. It says Trillium 5500 right on the side of it.

Here's a link to their website: http://trilliumtrailers.com/

The Trillium is a Trillium, but what is the other one?

Welcome.
Wow, if the Trillium is in good shape that's a find. Not many made in the 5500 size.
Not sure about the other one but sure someone will be along to identify it.

Thanks Paul O and Kootenaigirl, I have done some research on the Trillium and am pretty excited about it.

The one with the flat rear door is a Trillium Sportsman. Scarce as Hen's Teeth!

Ryan has one. You've got to check out the rebuild/rehab: Rebuild of a Trillium Sportsman

AND there's a Trillium Sportsman brochure in the Document Center here: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/d...p?do=cat&id=30

The 5500 is a rare trailer too, and if you don't intend to keep it, they are sought after and usually sell pretty fast.
I'm even surprised it was kinda abandoned in a field like that.
Do you have any interior pictures?

I only have one interior pic currently. I am pretty sure I'll be selling the 5500.

Looks in better shape than I imagined, and mostly original.

You will need to get the proper documents from the previous owner before anyone will be able to register the trailers. Motor Vehicle dept.'s seem to class 'found trailers' the same as 'stolen trailers'.

Good for you. Depending on the state you are in and the age of the trailers, you may not be able to get a title. Does the agreement you signed to buy the land state that the trailers are included? If not you may have to get a notarized statement from the landowner. I would check the real estate laws first and see if when you buy land that includes what ever is on the land. Since these trailers are on wheels that may not apply either. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I'm located in the province of Ontario, Canada and I have yet to look into the title transfer and registration process up here.

In Alberta, all you need is a hand written bill of sale, and bingo! you can register it. Welcome to the wild west.
