New members from Baltimore

New members here from Baltimore, Md. We've been lurking for a while tho'. My wife Karen and I purchased a new 2014 Casita SD this past March, we picked it up on St. Patties day. My wife named it Humpty Dumpty, lol. This past October we made it to our first casita rally in Lancaster, Pa. and we had a blast. We are looking forward to making it to some more of the rallies and meeting some of you fine folks. Also i would like to see the many different brands of fiberglass trailers and all the custom touches. Thanks for having us!

Welcome, Dave and Karen from Baltimore! Great city!!!

Though I now call AZ home (31 years), I grew up in Harford County, did a degree in mathematics at Loyola, and teaching certification coursework at Towson State. Grew up camping all over the country with my family, but one of our favorite places was Shad Landing State Park over on the Eastern Shore.

As a kid my dad used to take me to watch the O's play at the old Memorial Stadium. Camden Yards happened after I moved to AZ. I'd love to see a game there some day, but for now the D-backs will have to do.

We spent a lot of time in southern PA, including the Lancaster area. Apple picking in the fall was one of our favorite outings. Homemade cider popsicles… awesome!

Have fun with your Casita!

Dave & Karen, big Midwest welcome from IL. My wife's from VA, and we lived in the DC area for about 4 years. Spent quite a bit of time in MD.

Nice trailer! You came to the right place if you have any questions, or just want a place to share all your upcoming adventures.

Welcome Dave and Karen. Nice trailer, good to have another fiberglass trailer on the east coast. We are from the Northern Neck of Va. and currently in a C-17 SD. We make quite a few trips to South Jersey hope to meet you on the road. Just stay away from the Balt. tunnels.

Welcome D&K from another Baltimoron who retired to Penciltucky. Grew up in Liberty Heights area and lived 60 years there until retiring in 1976. I have had 8 campers since retiring, each of which I enjoyed modifying and or fixing up. Rallies is a great way to meet other owners and get to see their fiberglass units. Watch the rally section here Rallies, Get-togethers, Molded Meets (Upcoming) - Fiberglass RV and plan on attending those you can. See you on the road.

Welcome Dave & Karen, We also are on the Northern Neck with a Bigfoot and a Hunter Compact II that we are rehabbing. The rallies are a great way to meet others with our strange addiction and this site is tremendous for providing assistance and insight.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcomes. What part of Baltimore? Were from canton, both raised there. I still work in canton. But i wanted a single family house with a nice size fenced in grass yard, driveway and garage but still wanted to be close to the city so we purchased a house in dundalk. Alot quieter than canton and no parking issues, if you've been to the canton/fells point area you know what i'm talking about, lol.
