I know Tom has one for sale at Trilliumrv, look under his parts list. I was going to buy it but got a new one from Escape trailers but they don't have any more. Here is what a new one looks like. I also like the retro look of the old ones but I couldn't find one near by. Hope this helps.

I was talking about a window protector. I thought it was called a rock guard. I think a hand made solution is possible.

Can you recall the name of the rubbery stuff they have at CTC? Someone sprayed something on the lower quarter that is bumpy but not very attractive.

The CTC product was Motor Master "STOP A CHIP" in a spray can. the can I have looks very old so not sure if they still carry it under this nane.

Good news. CTC sells a product called ' Rocker Guard' ( on sale this week ) a rubberized undercoating. Comes in beige or black. Real happy with the results. All for under $20. Will post a final pic when I remove the paper.

I was also talking earlier about the stove. Although not 100%, I'm satisfied for now and will be moving onto other projects.

As you can see, I wasn't kidding about needing a new front window protector. I'm looking into using fiberglass and that spray stuff, and just attach it to aluminum framing, screwed together using lock tight.

As well, I have contacted the rv place in Arizona and might have an rv place in London Ont for the rear shelving. If possible - please alert me if you see such and item become available. Many thanks.

I'm also interested in getting a design idea for a window cover retrofit. How does the aluminum frame slip over the fixed part on the trailer?

The window rock guard is two main pieces. The cover, and the frame, The frame only has three sides, there is no bottom to it. The top of the frame has the hinge, and at the bottom of the sides are the latches. The supports also connect to the sides.

Take a look at the pictures. Let me know if you want any other angles.

Looking for brand names, suppliers, someone who might have done this or had it done. I'm a fan of electric brakes regardless on weight.

We used a tremclad heat resistant paint on our stove. Cleaned off as much of the rust as possible first. Looks good but we will see how it holds up over a season. We do most of our cooking outdoors anyway.

Our Ensolite was a mess too.

We re-attached it with contact cement and replaced the plastic T strips with a self adhesive seam tape. It's acctually the non-slip stuff they use on boat decks etc.

We found a matching Ben Moore hi end gloss paint to match the FG.
