New owner of a 1975 (Green) Trillium

Hi All! I've been lurking in the background, and over the weekend, made the drive to pick up my new (to me) Trillium! (From CO to KY and tow'ed it back - 1260 miles each way. Whew!)
It's a 1975 and is really in good shape! Definitely needs some cosmetic touches, but all the appliances work, no leaks, body is in good shape, frame is great, etc.
Needs some TLC to shine up the outside and patch a couple scratches. Windows all work great, cushions and covers are new, new flooring etc. It has a "bathroom" though I'll just be using it for storage. I am looking for some recommendations on building shelves without having to drill through the shell.

We're still recovering from the trip and getting it cleaned up. I'll post more photos soon, but here are a bunch of photos that the previous owners sent me: https://www.flickr.com/photos/lauren...7644079513363/

More from me later, just wanted to introduce myself.

Wow, what a beauty! Congratulations. Worth the long drive, I'm sure.

That is one sweet Trillium.

Using the bathroom for a closet is a very good idea. I sure could not use it for a bathroom. If you were much smaller then me, you still could probably not close the door still.

Hah - David, you said it! I'm 5'11 and my boyfriend is 6'2. We both looked in there and laughed at the thought of even TRYING to use it.

I have a Trillium with exactly the same floor plan. The daughter that I am going to give it to is small, like 5' even. She is 17 now, and probably not going to get much larger. She thinks it will work for her. I am 6' and somewhat rotund. I get claustrophobic just standing, (slouching) in there.

If what you have to do involves standing, I suggest a yellow water bottle will do the trick.

Hint: the liquid laundry detergent ones with the pour spout have an opening about the right size and are inconspicuous walking them over to the flush toilets that usually have laundry facilities attached.
