Hey Deryk. Loving the trailer, and been using it pretty stock so far. Redid the
battery mounts with trays and bolts. One of the original straps came loose, and I just wanted a bit more elegant solution. Also adding some covers to prevent shorting something when I need to do something in that area.
We added a safety rail to top bunk to keep our 3 yo from falling out.
I did add a set of valves to bypass the hw heater for winterizing this first winter. I now think it's possible to just fully drain the system and not have to mess with antifreeze in the fresh water system. Still trying to decide how I will attack that next winter.
How are your cabinet latches holding up? I have a couple that I need to replace. Chandler said that he was looking for a different latch when we picked ours up. I have been looking at the rim latches they put in the Casitas and was thinking about changing ours over to that one. The posts I have read about those raise some concerns about durability as well. Again, something I am still investigating.
We spent a week at Disney's Fort Wilderness campground last month, and the trailer performed great. That was our maiden voyage for 2013. I am still amazed how well it tows every time we take it out. Our tv is a Honda minivan, so the lightweight trailer is a real treat to have in tow.
Hope all is well.
