New Perris Pacer Owner

I just bought a pacer1975. Never heard of one. It's in good cond. Was not sure what they are worth but I wanted it so I paid $3,500 for it. Hope that wasn't too much to pay for it. I do have few questions about it if anyone has one. Funny I just live a few miles from parris.

Welcome Michael! I have had my Perris Pacer, Bean, for about 1.5 years and we love it! Drove from Omaha,NE to Arizona and paid $4700. So you did good.

Last fall we had the camper painted and I'm now getting ready to update the interior.

Talk to you soon,
Vickie

That's sound good. When you get a chance maybe you could send a pic of the inside of your door. I have weather stripping on mine but I think it may not be right

Michael - welcome!!
Another PP owner here. I've had "Tillie" for just over a year, gutted her (except the closet and cabinets) and started over. It's a process of love, or maybe a forever changing process!! Still need to get the interior up and someday painted outside, but she works for me.
Much luck with your project, LOTS of great info here.

Michael,

Here's a pic of the inside of my door. I need to replace my seal, also. I imagine there are probably several types of seals we could use.

Even tho there is a blizzard outside, it's time to start thinking of these camper things I need to get done so I can hit the ground rolling in June!!!

Thank you for the pic. Is it the same at the bottom, I have a space with what I have. I still can not figure out how you put a pic on this site?
Thank again for your answer.

Michael,

If you are talking about the "silver" seal on the actual door, yes, mine goes all the way around.

When you get the time could you send a pic of your seal on your door. I have one but sure it's the wrong one. That is about the only thing wrong with mine.

Hmmm---who knows---mine may not be original. Have you tried searching for "door seals" on here? I know there's places where they've been discussed. And folks used many different types.

Send a message via Yahoo to Alf S.
Hi: All... You'll probably find the door gasket set from Scamp Trailers will work best. Best of all they're inexpensive and really easy to ship by snail mail. Call their 800# and ask for parts dept. I used one on our former Boler. If there's to much gap at the bottom of the door there could be water in the door. A couple of small drain holes on the inner rim and new window butyl putty seal, will help that too!!!
