New Square egg owner in So. California

Hi everyone......My wife and I are new owners of a 1970 Trailswest camper (project) We will be looking for some advice on replacing the pop top canvass and cushions along with quite a few other issues. This is the second fiberglass trailer we've owned (Yes I'm the idiot that has been looking to purchase a trailer after stupidly selling a 13ft scamp without my wife's approval)....Ya I know what was i thinking. For everyone that responded to my "help save my marriage " trailer request thanks
I'll be posting some progress pics in the very near future

We are in So. Calif Are there any others in this area ?

She came out ahead, you'll have a larger bed and a more intimate space...(aka no passing space in the trailer.)

I haven't yet replaced my canvas so can't help you there. I'll probably sew my own if I ever do get around to it. I turned the bed sideways and made it less wide (you can get a six foot long, 54 inch wide bed in sideways and still have room for two seats and a small table if you want to go permanent bed.)

Welcome Alan,
I'm in San Diego. I had my top canvas replaced but I had the old one as a pattern. When I re-did the canvas I had the company double screen the windows and leave the velcro roll up plastic part off. If I get cold or it rains I pop the top down.

As for cushions, again I had the old ones to go from, but basiccily it was 2 pieces 24x70 x 4" thick and 2 pieces 12x70 x 4" thick. I went to UFO store here in National City and they cut it right on the spot. I still need to get them covered, but with some sheets they work fine.

Thanks,
Linda
