New to the forum due to a 1981 Scamp 13 purchase

Hello to everyone from S.E. Illinois,

Just purchased a 1981 Scamp 13ft. Projects will be repairing 2 rear end fiberglass cracks where someone backed the spare tire into something and cracked the fiberglass on both sides of the spare tire - about an 8in crack on one side and closer to a 2ft crack on the other side. Replace subfloor in dinette/bed area; change front sofa/bunk to dinette and somehow revamp the kitchen area. Mostly will be doing this myself with my husband being the foreman....Thanks for letting us join your group!!! Lisa

Welcome, Lisa!

It sounds like you have a project!

Here's Fiberglass Dave's go-to thread on fiberglass repair: You Can Repair Fiberglass

Before tackling the interior and floor, I would recommend you first make sure the frame and axle are sound and that windows and shell openings are properly sealed and watertight.

Most important, share pictures of your progress!
