The New Trillium 1300

Thank your for the warm welcome. we've been busy getting the "known" issues fixed that I almost forgot we have this great forumn as a resource. here's some pics of our first. today we will be fixing the door hnges. They seem to bee rotted at the screw and are a cause of the door sagging. The gravity heater and stove work well but are visually unappealing. i hope to remove them, sand and apply a coat of header paint. The ensolite walls could use a clean and a paint, for this we'll follow previouse forum suggestions using a primer and Behr paint. The floor looks solid as the PO had installed a light wood laminate, this still has some life in it. off to work we go!Click image for larger version

Albert, I am afraid your Trillium is not a 1976. The logo on the front and back changed to a parallelogram in 1973. Yours is a trapezoid. This indicates 1972, or earlier. Your serial number is also likely in this format, 13-XXX. The XXX part is the sequential number of production. If you post a picture of the data sheet that should be on the inside of you closet door, then I will add your trailer to the Trillium serial number list:

It looks like you need to do some fibreglass work in the foot well of your dinette.

Skullduggery is afoot. Say it isn't so.... Oh well I can now claim to have an uber vintage trailer. I'll look for the decal today while dialing the previous owner...the seller ..the purveyor of the aforementioned skulldeggry.

Whatever the provenance it's a trailer you can be proud of for many years to come! Congrats on the purchase.

Welcome to the forum and the Trillium club. Dave is the expert on vintage Trilliums so if he says older I bet he's right. This brings to mind the frame recall on early 70's Trilliums. The frame is weak at the bends and you need to make sure it has been reinforced. Use the Google search feature to research this. There is lots of info here on this including pictures. Raz

The search feature is part of the top banner. I searched Trillium recall.

Hi Mr. May yes its me Albert from windsor, great idea for the iballz promo.

Folks I have found the original paper Work . if anyone can find a way to tell the date of the unit from this i would greatly appreciate it.

Today I removed the stove top and gravity heater. I brought them to a friends to get sand blasted. Here are the pics prior to adding some header paint. I'm thinking of adding a countertop ,,any suggestion on light material.

Regarding the fiberglass damage, what can I fix that with? I was thinking of adding an abs sheet on either side of the benches ,,1 to hide the fg crack and 2 to add strength.

Cheers

OK, I was wrong, your trailer is not a 1972, it is a 1973. 13-230838 is just a few trailers after my 13-120811, which has a date of manufacture sticker that says March 1973.

The list of serial numbers:
