Newbie just learning

Hi. I am a new member who joined to gather information for a future purchase. I'm not sure if I will buy new or used. Right now I'm just doing research. I hope to learn from the vast knowledge and experience in this community. Thank you in advance for sharing with me.

Welcome to FGRV Marie. A lot of folks do buy new for what options they want as the price is very close for a used one that may not have all they want. For some better answers, tell us what you're looking for as in features, sleeping numbers and tow vehicle for example. There's a lot of people here ready to give you info .

Welcome, Marie!

New or used, molded fiberglass trailers are a great choice. Since most new ones are sold factory-direct and most used ones change hands between private parties, it can be hard to get a first-hand look. One great way to browse a lot of different makes and models in one place is to attend one of the fiberglass egg rallies. Here's a link to the 2017 Rally Map. Clicking on an icon brings up details and contact information so you can inquire about scheduling a visit. Some have scheduled times for open house tours, and even if not, most owners are happy to show off their trailers.

Meantime, as Dave says, tells us more about your needs, ask lots of questions, and start browsing the ads here and at www.fiberglass-RV-4sale.com.

Best wishes in your "egg hunt"!

Welcome. I haunted the RVTravel.com forums before discovering FiberglassRV forums. I actually found this when googling "scamp" (ad in the back of aarp newsletter) Hope you find yours in less time than it took me- I think I started in 2006! Ordered late march 2016, picked up 12/01/16. Wow! Didn't realize till just now- that was about a decade!

Marie, I sent you a private message. Do you know how to access those? If not, click on "User CP" on the top dark blue task bar.
