Newbie with a 1975 Trillium 1300

Hello!

I'm Cat and I recently purchased a Trillium 1300 that is new to me, (but maybe not to you, as it's been posted about on here before by its previous owner). We're calling her Lily, for now.

Have made some little cosmetic changes since we got it (curtains and reorganizing so we know where everything is, basically) and we were hoping to take it out next weekend, but looks like things will have to wait a few weeks longer.

Looking forward to picking so many brains about do many things!

Very nice!
The cushions are original.
The fridge has been replaced. Is it a three way still?
Does your furnace work?
I like the floor as well.
It looks like your escape hatch is on the front. I see that fairly often, but I don't understand it.
Is there a rock guard on the front window?

Please take a look at the Trillium serial number list at:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...tml#post441176

Feel free to add your trailer by posting in that thread the serial number, typically found on the data sheet, on the inside of your closet door.

Thanks David,

We liked that the cushions were original... we figured one way of guessing that it had never been too damp in there was un-moldy original cushions. The furnace works, yes, but I'm not sure about the escape hatch. I'm not sure there is one at all? I haven't had a chance to fully explore the trailer yet, though, so you may be right. Will look into the serial number shortly, though I don't think we have the data sheet.

Donna: Excited for sure. And every forum I've ever been on the first thing that gets asked for is pics, so I figured I may as well be on it. And it's lovely to see I am not the only person who says cool beans. :P

It may just be a trick of the lighting, but it looks like the left side, on the front, is one piece, that would be the wrong side though. Please forget what I said about an escape hatch.

Hi Cat
Welcome ! good to see another Ontarian Trillium owner.
See your chomping at the bit to get out but this Ontario weather not co-operating. I always wanted to try some winter camping but not got to as yet.
I live in southwestern Ont. and having to wait for better weather.
You might want to look at some rallies, have one on July 11-12-13 weekend down on Like Erie @ Longpoint on lake Erie Called BOLARAMA HITCHSTOCK. There be lots of other makes there, always good to be able to our others.
If interested check the Rally site.
Ron

Thanks! This summer's going to be pretty busy - got a wedding that weekend - but I'll take a look.

And the weather's not so bad: I've slept in a hole in the snow before, so I have a good sleeping bag (this is key, I think). Going out as soon as we've got a free weekend!
