Welcome to FiberglassRV. Humm, I feel certain your name really isn't "olegoat," what should we call you?

I have a motherinlaw from Huntsville Ontario, who's name is Dawn. Now in Canada-speak her name is pronounced with an 'ah' sound, so it sounds like the name Don. Coincidentally, she has a son who's name is Don (but in Canada-speak, it's pronounced just like ''Dawn"). Just try and sort that out!
Anyway Bob is a whole lot better than Boob (two o's). Welcome to ya

Cool Northern friends

North shore of lake Erie-Am quite familiar with 'Duffy's' in Amherstberg [sic] just across from Grosse Ile MI where I was stationed. The Canadian Military friends were 'Her Majesty's Canadian Black Watch' Drill team out of Windsor. Many, many fond memories.

Pam in mid-MI. Fond memories of bluegills in area lakes, morel mushrooms and smelt in the spring. Our son graduated HS in So. CA and wanted to vacation back in MI and never left. Lives down near Hillsdale today.

[Even so - much tastier than the grunion on the west coast. I even aquired a taste for raw sea food and pickled herring and squid during my travels.

Hi Bob,
The wife and I are spending Sat. night in Suwannee State Park on our way to Hunting Island and Beaufort SC. Drop by if you want to see an EggCamper.
BTW, I'm an honorary Photo CPO; I worked for the Navy for 33 years, 20 of which were at the Navy photo school in Pensacola - until they moved to Ft. Meade, when I made the move to Corry and the CTs for the last ten years.

just wanted to let everyone know that we hosted a vintage campout last december at Three rivers st. park and everyone that attended said they want to do it again.the st. park has a wonderfull Cristmas light show the same weekend and we had everyone decorate there trailers as well.so we have set up a date for this years Cristmas light show campout on the weekend of Dec.9th 10th&11th.We gave out prices for best decorated trailer and farthest traveled, had a big pot luck dinner on sat. and had wonderfull camp fire sit arounds every night. your trailer does not have to be vintage to join in even though it will be vintage some day.So make your reservations through reserve america and we will look foward to seeing Ya'll there,Jim&Donna

Okay, I'm gonna bite....I'm Canadian and yes we do pronounce the names Don and Dawn exactly the same way. How do you pronounce them?
