Parkliner, Anyone?

We're planning to buy a travel trailer in the next year and will most likely go with a small fiberglass. We really liked the Scamp but after actually standing in one, we found it was not quite tall enough for my husband (he's 6'2".) I'm now looking at the Parkliner and am interested to know if any forum members own one or have "visited" one.

Ginny, Yes I did a review of one back in Feb. on the forum here. I liked it well enough that I have one on order and I will pick it up end of June. I'm just choosing my fabric material for the cushions/curtains now. I don't know where you live but one just went up for sale in N.C. The owner is Harry and has changed some plans around so he is selling his new ParkLiner. That is also here in the classifieds. You should give them a call and talk with Christopher, he is great to talk with and maybe talk to Harry. And yes with the extra height in the Parkliner it seems like a larger trailer than it really is. Good Luck

Hi Ginger. I believe it doesn't matter which brand you buy (as long as it's molded ) , as long as it suits your needs "Love the One you're With," is my philosophy... and I'm sticking with it!

You may also want to check out the EggCamper, due to the height... and Lil Snoozy. So many choices, I'm sure you'll find the perfect trailer for you.

Ginny, If you and hubby are curious about an EggCamper, you're welcome to come up to NH to see one in person. Just send me a PM.
Ron F, just south of Lake Winnepesauki

I saw the Parkliner this past weekend, quite roomy inside. Not as wide as the EggCamper but just as tall inside. The EggCamper has more storage available, but you have to crawl under the bed whereas the Parkliner's storage is all overhead. Plus the Parkliner can sleep 4 with the bunk beds. I also think the Parkliner is better suited for boon docking since it has the propane heat/stove, dual batteries.
