Photo of first night in our Scamp 13'

By way of introduction here is our first overnight with a just acquired 2008 Scamp 13' Standard,
at an undisclosed location in North America. We are empty nesters and
got a lot of use of a tent trailer when our kids were young. Very slow and inefficient
with this set up for now, but we expect many years of traveling the North American
continet with this rig. I'm finding that backing with a long wheelbase pickup
and a short trailer is not easy. I insisted on backing up a steep grade to get
a wonderful vista of a deep rocky canyon from chairs behind the trailer.

Gr8 job! The important thing is to get out camping (i'd say you've nailed that one!).
Efficiency will come with time - that process is fun in its own way.
