Prospective Egg Buyer

...Roger M from LA. These forums have been very educational in my search for a small lightweight travel trailer (Casita or Bigfoot). Hopefully I'll bring one home soon.

Hi Roger, welcome to FiberglassRV Yep this is an informative website/forum with lots of nice people. Is there a particular model(s) of Casita or Bigfoot you're looking for? We'll all help if we can!

Hi Donna, I've read your posts and appreciate the time and effort you and all the other nice people put into FRV forum.

I'm looking for a later model like 2005+ Bigfoot 17.5 center bath or gaucho with the insulated windows and heated tanks or a late model Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe with most of the available options. This will be my first trailer for my wife and I.

I posted a question about the Bigfoot 17.5 suspension in the Towing Forum asking whether a torsion suspension was ever used on these models.

Thank you for your help.

I think the Bigfoot is a nice, nice trailer... even if a bit heavy to tow for most. The best resource I can offer you is to suggest (in addition to the member for sale forum here and the referrals) is FiberglassRV 4 Sale. Finding a Bigfoot in LA is going to be a challenge. I hope you're willing to travel!

Best of luck on your egg hunt!

Yes, I've discovered finding a Casita in LA is a challenge and Bigfoots are almost as rare as...well, the real Bigfoot
