Proud new owner

Hi, I am a proud new owner of a 1977 Trillium. Just bought it today and can't wait to go camping with her. It has the original seat cushions that I want to recover. Any ideas on colors? I don't have an eye for that type of thing. Want to keep with a 70's theme though.

Welcome, Corinne----did you buy Jennifer's trillium???

As to colours, those really are things that are personal. If, by chance, you DID purchase Jennifer's trailer, there are colours you could draw on from the curtains that are already hanging. Perhaps you could take some photos and post them so we can see what you have to work with.

Congrats I have a '77 as well. The paper says '78 but professional folks here said it's a '77.

We really like our little bubble. Ours was in really good shape when we got it - just needed (more than a little) elbow grease and fabric change up as it was a little threadbare in spots. I didn't keep with the '70's theme however, did my own thing.

Happy Camping

I recently made cushions with amicrofiber faux suede. It was super easy to sew with. And it lasts a long time. So, it you go with a durable fabric, choose a flexible folor that you wont get sick of. And, even if you put in big zippers, you wont want to wash often so I suggest medium or dark color. You could go with a pattern to better hide stains, but you might get sick of that sooner. Also, easier to redecorate with a solid. What about a warm garnet red for cushions and go with the 70's oranges, greens and browns for accessories and decor? Important to pick a color you LIKE.
