Hi all!
My partner and I just purchased a 2007 Scamp 13 and we love it already. We went to Waldo Lake this past weekend for our maiden voyage and had a great time. I'm looking forward to learning more about our Scamp through this forum.

Congratulations. The two of you will have many happy adventures. Laura and I will be finishing our first camping season in our new to us Casita. By the end of the season, we will end up with nearly 40 nights in the Casita. Lots of fun.

If you haven't already found it, the "Site Search/Google" at the bottom of the "Search" menu does a much better job of turning up old threads on any questions or issues that arise.

Sounds like you're on the right track to have many hours of enjoyment. If you like the Waldo Lake area there's a few other places near there. Gold Lake is one and then there's a campground outside of Oak Ridge that the mountain bikers like. It's small and quiet.
We have camped every month in Oregon. There's always someplace even in Jan and Feb. We don't that anymore, we head for Death Valley and points south and east in late Dec and return to OR in MAR or APR.
