wasssup??

hi, keith here and I just got (well a month ago) a 1985 compair 13' and can't find any info on it. it looks most like a uhaul but I'm not sure. anyway I'm trying to find a serial # on it as I have no title for it. I'm trying to find out what I can before I do any work to it. if I can't title it I plan on selling it as is.

the body is nice but has had a repair over one of the windows. the frame is nice (southern camper) and the floor is solid. has original sink, 2 burner stove, icebox, and gas heater. haven't tried anything out. I'm a little frustrated at the title thing so I may sell it if I can get my original 1000 bucks back out of it. I'm in sc in the greenville area.

anybody else had to get a title from scratch?

Keith - to the forum. Your trailer (and ad) are in another forum under discussion. I know there are a lot of members who would love more info on your rig.

On the title issue, depends on the local (state) DMV. They would be the place to start. There may be some members in your area who will be able to help.

Keep us posted and use the Google search on the site to find out anything you need. Try "new title for trailer" and see what comes up.

Again,
