We are right this minute towing home our 2010 16 ft scamp from Las Vegas. Those of you who have input this last week about towing set up and break controller. We ended up going to camping world in Vegas after checking out the trailer. It was a spur of the moment trip... I finally heard back on Tuesday from an inquiry call I made the previous Sunday.
My search is over and the adventure begins!

Iplumb:
The escape seems to be doing well. We have the factory tow package on our escape and have teconsha brake controller. The guy we bought from pulled it with jus own 2010 escape with exactly the same set up. 6 cyl except his was red to match the scamp.y husband is driving and says he is comfortable with it. The guy we bought from used the mirrors on the escape, no extender. We are thinking though that we will be getting the mirror extensions.
To a while longer to get home than to get there. The trailer needs to be shined up, cuz it had been sitting out. So will have to figure out what works best without destroying the decals.

On the off chance the decals do get damaged, Scamp does carry them in stock along with practically every other part you could need.

Wonderful and so jealous you live in a climate where you can actually camp this time of year. Its not much fun camping in two feet of snow!!

Dilemma
Sorry for your snow... We were out spiffing up our new toy just now, and hubby threw his back out, so probably won't go anywhere together too soon. Boo hoo...
