Wish & it will come!

Hello everyone!
Brand new here! Have to say I love the forum; many thanks to everyone for posting such helpful topics!

My wife and I just got serious about looking for a little camper and everything we found was either too far away or way too much $$ for us to justify on a project. Seems like the universe heard us pouting as we found a 1971 Trillium 10' in "decent" shape in the next town over.

I pick her up on Monday and you'll be seeing a lot of us as she will need a little TLC.

I'll post pics soon!

Congratulations! I came across my Compact Jr in such a strange way that I should have named it 'Divine Intervention'. Good luck with your Trillium.

August 2012 I had given up finding one. I stopped because it was becoming an obsession. A friend in Mass was interested so I started sending him links. Stumbled across one from Newport, Oregon for $800. Contacted the owner and placed a deposit sight unseen. No plates, paperwork, serial number tag missing. Had been an old scrap trailer.

Went to see it. In a box of old parts we found a transaction form from several years earlier (a friend actually dreamt we would find registration papers). We had a record of the original owner and registration. There were a few DMV issues, possessitory lien issues (original owner died years previous owing storage fees to boatyard who took possession), but it all worked out in my favor.

If it's meant to be, it will be . . . .
