Yeah, if you want to know why bulletproof vests are made from Kevlar/aramid, try cutting Kevlar cloth with regular scissors - it just doesn't work. Sharp scissors will cut carbon fiber (and of course glass fiber) cloth (ie, before resin added) but they just skid off aramid.

Obvious ,a good pair of electric scissors is a pleasure to use. Opposite a bad pair of scissors is miserable and ineffective.
there are many similar products in market ,
some scissors is just for cutting fabric ,but some brands can even cut fiberglass ,carbon,Kevlar /aramin . maybe it can not killed in a row.

Smile How to fiberglass vehicle

If you've purchased a fiberglass kit, you'll need to know how to work with these materials or else things are about to get a little messy. The first step is building your mold, and then you can move onto preparing your fiberglass cloth and working with the hardener.
Do the mold, prepare the fiberglass mat or cloth in sheets cut to suitable sizes to cover your form
Then need a good helper for cutting the fiberglass , like WBT-1electric scissors are specifically designed to cut tough fabrics like Aramid, Kevlar, carbon fiber cloth and more.

Be prepared to work fast as the epoxy compound tends to harden in short order!
If you follow directions you will discover the process is easy.

Fiberglass is used for many products

Fiberglass (or fibreglass) is a type of fiber reinforced plastic where the reinforcement fiber is specifically glass fiber. The glass fiber may be randomly arranged, flattened into a sheet (called a chopped strand mat), or woven into a fabric. The plastic matrix may be a thermosetting plastic- most often epoxy, polyester resin- or vinylester, or a thermoplastic.
The glass fibers are made of various types of glass depending upon the fiberglass use. These glasses all contain silica or silicate, with varying amounts of oxides of calcium, magnesium, and sometimes boron. To be used in fiberglass, glass fibers have to be made with very low levels of defects.
Fiberglass is a strong lightweight material and is used for many products. Although it is not as strong and stiff as composites based on carbon fiber, it is less brittle, and its raw materials are much cheaper. Its bulk strength and weight are also better than many metals, and it can be more readily molded into complex shapes. Applications of fiberglass include aircraft, boats, automobiles, bath tubs and enclosures, swimming pools, hot tubs, septic tanks, water tanks, roofing, pipes, cladding, casts, surfboards, and external door skins.
