Yeah, I wrote that off as a loss, and a good lesson.

Power range or regulated also matter. Plugged in the converter will be charging battery so circuit will have more than 12 volts. Possibly up around 14 volts.

I can see a possible use for mix and match, some less expensive lower output for things such as porch or bathroom light. Depending on how much light you need to do your makeup or shaving. Higher lumens for main or task lighting.

Considering that the Walmart bulbs are half the price of the 300 lumen at 1003, 1141, 1156 warm white LED interior lights I also wonder if given the stock fixtures (on mine anyway) needing to direct light out if some of the flat panel lights would work better. Gold Star has some that look promising wide voltage range 250 lumen with a flat panel design. $24 for 2 including shipping.

Amazon.com: Gold Stars 11568305 LED Replacement Bulb 1156 Base 250 LUM 12 or 24v Natural White (1): Automotive

I was also giving some thought to the Gold Star reading lamps at $20 plus shipping.
What RogerDat said....

Replaced Lamps with LED's

These lights are really working well. Couldn't be happier with them.

Read more reviews on those reading lights, most like them but those that do not say it is because the LED panel is below the shade. Lot of glare from the side. Guess I'll keep looking. In a small space like my camper I think that side glare would be annoying.

Thank you, Steve Dunham,RADAR1,GIRO53,Darwin Maring,DeryK,Roger Dat, Tom K, for your comments on the subject LED lights. I am a Commerical Member and can only post products I sell in this section. I only wanted to let forum members know of the new item I am stocking. From all your postings you look like LED engineers. Why don't all of you spend time designing better lighting for Molded Fiberglass Trailers. All of your postings on this subject is a prime example why so many people are turned off by this forum. It used to be a place where someone could ask a question and get a good answer or some help. I don't see much of that any more on this forum.
Have a nice day Chuck

Chuck, I jumped into this thread somewhere in the middle. I didn't notice you were a commercial member and were advertising on the forum. It looked like a discussion on the merits of different LED's to me, so I chimed in. I'm not an LED engineer, so my advice was given to forum members with the intent of helping someone out that was trying to decide which lights to try. I'm not sure why that would turn people off? It was advice given freely, to be taken for what it's worth. That's one of the biggest reasons I've been a fan of this forum as long as I have.

I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. As far as I know, your brand of lights are just fine. I just don't have any personal experience with them. From now on I'll watch out for your threads, recognize them as advertisements, and refrain from responding.

Tom

I also did not notice that I was in the commercial forum and that the original post was simply announcing a product.

Thought I was looking at another thread where a member was saying "hey I got these lights for...."

I navigated in from the most recent posts list on the right. If I was going to purchase 1156 socket LED bulbs I would have been checking the commercial section, would generally rather do online business with members than Walmart. Little slower to mail a product back than return it to Walmart but a whole lot more likely that I will have to return one from Walmart. Plus I can mail it back without making a trip to the store.

Two questions about the new bulb you are offering that I think are important. Lumens and voltage range. I may have missed it but do you have those specifications?

All your comments have produced sales for these bulbs.
