New design is really nice. While one cannot stop a determined thief with time the base plate design defies easy determination of what is needed to steal it.

Original design said "bolt cutters" or "4 inch cut off grinder battery powered" will take that gennie. Same as a cable and lock. New design while it might not stop a determined thief with plenty of privacy it will certainly make it hard for a casual look to even reveal what tools are needed.

I can totally see some idoit trying to do a snatch and grab on generator secured this way and experiencing an epic fail. Look forward to that YouTube video.

Wouldn't that make your day. The idiot rolling on the ground with a massive back muscle pull.

In the US he would sue you for damages though.

If I catch him damages is exactly what he a gonna get.

Still all in all would rather discourage stealing than have the hassle of providing the whooping his parents should have provide when he was a kid to teach him better behavior.

Well that all took longer than I thought for a variety of reasons.
But the first production units are built now (both Black and White base plates) and will be photographed tomorrow.
First complete batch of top plates was painted yesterday, base plates will get paint tomorrow.
We will be ready for ordering starting Friday evening, for shipping on Monday.

Thank you all for your patience.

Jim

Hats off. That is a really cool design. Is it a single base for Honda and Yamaha or is this for one specific model?

Great looking design, Jim. If I had a genset, this would be a great mounting solution.

This first one is just for the Honda EU2000i models (including tri-fuel, propane, companion, camo etc)
