TriMetric 2025-RV-F Battery Monitoring System

Our company ModYourRV LLC was formed in 2012, initially offering satellite antenna mounts for RVs that we design and produce. We have since expanded our offerings with other "best in class" RV boondocking products.

We appreciate the opportunity of providing our products to this forum.

Our web site is at the following link: | Wichita, KS 67226

We will only offer "best in class' products that we have tested and used ourselves.

The TriMetric 2025-RV-F with shunt and cable is now available to Fiberglass Forum Members for $190. These items are normally sold separately so be sure and include them in any price comparisons.

The TriMetric Battery Monitor System is used to monitor battery systems in remote homes, RV’s or boats that have batteries that store solar, wind, or possibly generator powered chargers. They will help you maintain your batteries. The use of a shunt with the system allows precise, real-time amperage measurements.

This system would be best for those that boondock primarily and will be more than you need if you primarily camp with electrical hookups.

The TriMetric eliminates the false readings you see from simple battery level indicators. With simple battery indicators you must wait approximately 24 hours before you get a true reading after charging the battery or placing it under any load, like running the fan.

The TriMetric does many things but at a minimum you will like the following displays:
-“Percent Full” (“State of charge”) of your batteries, so you can see if you need to charge them more, or check that overall usage is less than your charging resources.
-Volts of the batteries, for example to check that they are being charged at proper voltage.
-Energy going in, or out of your batteries, measured in Amps or Watts, so you can see that your charging sources are charging properly, or how much current your loads are using..
-How many days since the batteries were fully charged: to remind you to not wait too long between fully charging your batteries to maximize their life.

With the TriMetric you can quickly determine how much amperage each appliance or system uses by turning the item on or off and noting the difference in amperage on the monitor. The system also allows you to determine the parasitic load on the battery with all items turned off. The TriMetric also allows you to accurately determine when to turn off your generator when charging the battery.
