As a kid I grew up living in one of those Spartans. When the family grew and my dad built a house he placed the trailer at the end of the new house and bricked it in for use as a cabana next to the pool. It lived there for over 50 years. When the house was
sold my sister wanted the trailer. A guy was called to make the move. Some bricks were removed and he crawled underneath to assess the situation. His opinion was that all that was needed to move it was some new
tires. The rest of the bricks were removed, new
tires mounted and he hooked up and towed it to my sisters lake house about 40 or so miles away with no problems. It's now a guest house and I'd guess it'll be serviceable for another 50 years. It's true...they just don't build trailers like that any longer.
